About Barb
I was a single woman working for a fabulous company when I decided to adopt my daughter.
After I brought my daughter home, I was fortunate to be able to work from home for 6 weeks. Going back to work was a challenge. I liked my job and company, but I couldn’t help feeling guilty about having someone else raising my child, but I had to work.
I decided I needed to make a change. I thought the change was to find a new corporate job so I switched companies. Talk about STRESS!!

In changing companies I also changed careers. It was not what I wanted, but I wasn’t sure what I wanted. While I was trying to figure it out, I was diagnosed with colon cancer. Leaving the job was not an option. I needed health care and a salary.
Three months after I finished my chemotherapy treatments, I was laid off from my job. At first I was very upset, but deep down inside I knew I would be okay.
I decided to try my hand at self employment. It wasn’t easy but, I was happy. I could make my own schedule. There were still times I felt guilty because I couldn’t attend one of my daughter’s events, however now those times were less frequent than before. Until this point in my life, I was doing what I thought I was suppose to do as a mother. I finally doing something I wanted to do.
As my life has changed, I realize that what I truly want is control over my life. If I decide to be self-employed, that's okay. If I decide to be in a corporate job, that too is okay. If I want a little of both- good for me.
It is my decision.
By applying a few simple rules to my everyday life I am starting to live the life I dreamed of and I know it will only get better!
As I reflect on the challenges that I've overcome in parenting, career and life, I realize that my passion in life is to work with moms and help them to synchronize life's challenges and their careers.
I look forward to helping you achieve YOUR INCREDIBLE LIFE!
